Healio was engineered to solve the chaotic reality of everyday outpatient departments (OPD), independent clinics, and connected healthcare providers in India. Instead of fragmented registers and bloated legacy software, Healio provides a clean, role-based mobile interface for doctors, nurses, labs, and patients.
In Indian outpatient clinics, doctors see 40–80 patients in a single shift. Any app requiring multiple taps or complex data entry will simply be ignored by busy clinicians.
Patients and clinics operate on heterogeneous networks and variable Android devices. The interface had to feel instant, support multi-lingual staff, and offer zero-latency token tracking.
Traditional Clinic
Physical tokens, paper registers, scattered prescriptions
With Healio
1-Tap OPD queue, digital Rx, instant patient history
Turning the business idea into a clear digital product and prioritising the core experience for fast clinician adoption.
Designing a simple mobile journey around healthcare users with high-contrast readable tokens and 1-tap queue actions.
Building a fluid React Native & Expo cross-platform application tuned for 60fps performance on real Indian devices.
Connecting the application to database infrastructure, SMS/WhatsApp notifications, and secure doctor authentication.
Taking the product through real-clinic QA, performance optimization, device stress-testing, and production implementation.
A single mobile experience with fast queue status switching (Waiting → In Progress → Done), instant digital prescriptions, staff role delegation, and live token display. Built to be faster than the paper it replaced, on the mobile hardware doctors and patients already carry.
